SecNet 54® – Securing Data Over IP

The SecNet 54 product is a highly portable and modular, standards-based Type-1 encryptor that provides Type-1 certified levels of data protection for mobile Internet Protocol (IP) communications. The NSA-certified SecNet 54 modular architecture consists of two components:  a Cryptographic Module (CMOD) that provides all security-critical functions, and an External Module (XMOD) that handles the transport of encrypted data over specific protocols, including wired 802.3 Ethernet and wireless 802.11a/b/g. This modular approach allows for flexible utilization of standard communication technologies, including wired 802.3 Ethernet and wireless 802.11.

BID/2370 – Designed for the UK MOD

The BID/2370 ECU, a Sierra™ II based network-centric, programmable encryption device, was developed as part of the UK MOD Common-good High-grade INFOSEC Module (Programmable) or CHIM(P) programme. It is based on a modular system architecture that features programmability, module reuse, full UK sovereignty, and scalability to accommodate a wide range of cryptographic equipment and/or applications. The BID/2370 provides functionality for legacy high-speed link and Internet Protocol (IP) packet encryption (i.e., High Assurance IP Encryptor or HAIPE) applications.
